I grew up an artist and painted portraits for many families in Austin. Antique furniture became a fascination, when my husband, Bill, and I would travel. My love for history made the antiques so relevant, especially French antiques. While traveling Europe we would find distinctive and authentic pieces of antique furniture, such as a French antique tables of mahogany or painted Italian antique chairs, and would ship them back to our home in Austin. Antique furniture and the decorative arts soon became my constant pursuit and I loved it. I have an eye for artistic and authentic antiques. It defines my collection. The Austin antique furniture venue has been the perfect place for this new lighter look in antiques.
